Tsumugi Wabi Sabi Round Ceramic Table Lamp

A weathered clay jar, softened by linen and warm light.

Tsumugi takes its name from the Japanese word for spinning thread into cloth. The base is a round ceramic jar with a rough, sun-baked glaze in sand and cream, each surface slightly different. A tapered fabric shade turns the bulb into a soft glow, so the whole lamp feels calm, grounded and handmade in spirit. It sits happily on a bedside, a console or a shelf, and brings the quiet beauty of wabi sabi into modern Japandi and Nordic rooms.

Key Features

• Round ceramic base with a textured, earthy wabi sabi finish
• Tapered fabric shade that diffuses light softly
• Warm white 3000K glow for a calm evening atmosphere
• Easy button switch
• Wide 40 cm shade with a stable, weighted base
• AC 90-260V, SAA approved, RCM and CE certified

Size Guide

Width 40 cm, height 46 cm. A generous presence that works as the hero of a bedside table or console, not a small accent.

How to Choose Your Size

Tsumugi is one size, built to anchor a surface. Allow about 50 cm of free width on a bedside table or console so the shade has room to breathe. For a very narrow nightstand, measure first, or choose one of our smaller table lamps.

Where It Shines

Bedside tables in calm, layered bedrooms. Console tables and sideboards in hallways and living rooms. Reading corners beside a sofa or armchair.

Transform Your Interior with Light and Balance

Pair Tsumugi with linen bedding, rattan, raw timber and plaster walls. The rough ceramic grounds a soft room, while the shade lifts the light and keeps the mood gentle.

Crafted with Intention, Designed to Last

Every Hugbel light is chosen for its material, proportion and the way it makes a room feel. Ceramic is naturally unique, so small variations in texture and tone are part of the character of each lamp.

FAQ

Can I get a different light colour?
Every light ships with warm white (3000K) as standard. If you need a different colour temperature, email us at info@hugbel.com when you order.

Will it work in Australia?
Yes. The lamp runs on AC 90-260V and is SAA approved, RCM and CE certified.

Is the finish identical on every lamp?
No. The ceramic texture is part of the design, so each lamp has its own subtle pattern.
