Shiori means bookmark in Japanese: the small, quiet thing that marks where you belong. A slender all-copper stem rises from a neat rectangular backplate and carries a tapered fabric shade that turns bare light into a warm, even glow. Pair two either side of a bed or mirror, or run a line of them down a hallway.

How to Choose Your Size

• Bedside: Mount the backplate around 120 to 140 cm from the floor, one either side of the bed.
• Mirrors and vanities: Place one either side of the mirror at roughly eye level for flattering, even light.
• Hallways: Space every 1.5 to 2 m for a calm, gallery-like rhythm.

Which finish should I choose?
Aged brass adds warmth and pairs well with wood, stone and cream tones. Matte black gives a crisper, graphic look against white or light walls.

Is a bulb included?
Yes. Each light comes with an E14 LED bulb in warm white.

Can I get a different light colour?
Every light ships with warm white (3000K) as standard. If you need a different colour temperature, email us at info@hugbel.com when you order.

Can I use it in Australia, the UK and the US?
Yes. It runs on AC 90–260V and is SAA approved, RCM and CE certified.
