Kohaku means amber in Japanese. A teardrop of solid wood, turned and finished in a warm walnut tone, rises to a wide amber glass disc that seems to float above it. Light washes down through the glass and onto the grain, so the lamp looks as beautiful switched off as it does on.

FAQ

What is the difference between rubberwood and ash?
Both are solid wood. Ash has a more pronounced grain and comes with copper fittings; rubberwood is a smooth, even hardwood at a lower price.

Can I dim it?
Yes. The inline switch on the cord dims the light smoothly.

Can I get a different light colour?
Every light ships with warm white (3000K) as standard. If you need a different colour temperature, email us at info@hugbel.com when you order.

Can I use it in Australia, the UK and the US?
Yes. It runs on AC 90–260V and is SAA approved, RCM and CE certified.
