Isola is made from hand-cut slabs of natural alabaster, each with its own irregular edge, veining and translucency, set around a brass frame. When lit, the stone glows from within in soft creams and ambers, like light through a cloud. It is a sculptural centrepiece that feels both ancient and completely modern.
