Kabocha Milk Glass Pumpkin Pendant Light

Kabocha is the Japanese word for pumpkin, and this pendant takes that soft, rounded vintage form and renders it in ribbed milk white glass. Instead of a hard point of glare, the light settles into a warm, even glow that flatters walls, timber and skin tones. It is a small piece with a lot of character, equally at home in a French retro kitchen, a Japandi dining nook or a quiet hallway.

Hang a pair over a kitchen island or dining table for rhythm, or use a single pendant beside a bed, in an entry or above a stair landing. Two sizes and finishes let you choose between a slim brass rod drop and a lower semi-flush mount for rooms with modest ceiling heights.

Soft Light, Vintage Shape

Kabocha is lighting that speaks quietly. The ribbed glass catches the light like a lantern, and the pumpkin form brings warmth and a little playfulness to otherwise calm interiors. Choose one for a moment of softness, or repeat it across a space for a quietly designed look.

FAQ

Can I order a different light colour?
Please email info@hugbel.com and we will help.

Which size should I choose?
The Ø25 cm pendant suits a single drop over a bedside, entry or small table, or a pair over a kitchen island. The Ø38 cm semi-flush mount suits hallways and rooms with lower ceilings.

How many should I hang over a kitchen island or table?
Two or three Ø25 cm pendants, evenly spaced, work well over most islands and tables. One Ø38 cm semi-flush works well on its own.
